What if I like the Joy School curriculum but would rather send my child to preschool or pay one person to be the regular Joy School teacher for my child?

Participating in a Joy School Co-op is a wonderful way to offer your children an excellent preschool experience.  But some parents would like to pay one person to do all the teaching or would like to send their child to a preschool that uses the Joy School curriculum.  To accommodate these people, The Joy School Company provides all the Joy School materials as well as supplemental materials and support to mothers and preschool teachers who wish to host a Joy School in their home or use the Joy School Curriculum in their preschool.

If you want to send your child to Joy School rather than doing it yourself, find someone who’d like to make a little extra money by teaching children a couple mornings a week in her home and have her contact The Joy School Company for help in setting up her own Joy School .  Usually the best “commercial” Joy School teachers are former preschool or elementary teachers or have some other sort of experience working with young children (teaching as part of a co-op Joy School, teaching children in church, tending groups of children, etc.).  Alternately, you can suggest that a local preschool contact the Joy School Company and look into integrating the Joy School curriculum into their existing program.  We can send materials to you about the benefits of Joy School and you can share these materials with the director of the preschool of your choice.
